Marble Inlay Art-

The long established art form of marble inlay was brought to India in the 17th century by the Mughals and we are proud to assist in preserving this age old tradition. Passed down from father to son, the tradition has been kept in the family all these years. As a result, the highly skilled craftsmen who fashioned the Taj Mahal are the forefathers of the artists currently employed in the heritage city of Agra. Techniques have remained virtually unchanged and to this day everything is created exclusively by hand. Private shopping tour to shop for Peitra Dura marble can be undertaken.
