Day 1

BARCELONA

Your package starts today with checkin at the hotel. Enjoy your day in Barcelona as you use your hop-on hop-off bus pass for access to various attractions from the Sagrada Família and other Gaudí wonders to the city's famous beaches and parks, plus hidden temples and top museums. Choose to spend time visiting Barceloneta, the Cathedral, Camp Nou, FC Barcelona museum, Casa Mila (La Pedrera), Las Ramblas, Plaza Catalunya, Palau de la Musica Catalana (Palace of Catalan Music), Park Guell, the Magic Fountain of Montjuic.

You won't get bored in this city that has many options for everyone.

Day 2

BARCELONA

Breakfast at the Hotel.

Continue enjoying your time in Barcelona. Use the Hop On Hop Off pass as transit for getting to different points of interest that you might have missed the day before.

Day 3

BARCELONA & MADRID

Breakfast at the Hotel and check out and travel to Madrid on the high speed train.

Choose from any of the optional excursions to Toledo, Avila, Segovia etc. available through us at special rates or you can book yourself when you are there.

Day 5

MADRID & SEVILLE

Breakfast at the Hotel and check out. Travel to Seville by train. Spain's fourth-largest city is Andalucía's leading destination, buzzing with festivals, color, guitars, castanets, and street life, and enveloped in the fragrances of orange trees, jacaranda, and myrtle. Sevilla also has its share of impressive sights, but the real magic is the city itself, with its tangled former Jewish Quarter, riveting flamenco shows, thriving bars, and teeming evening paseo.

Hotel Reserved for 3 pm ( Early check-in may be available upon request but subject to availability) Enjoy the city tour of Seville aboard a hop on hop off bus included in your package.

Day 6

SEVILLE

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and spend your free time exploring Seville and surrounding areas. You can choose to take any of our optional excursions from Seville to areas like Ronda, Cadiz or Cordoba.

Day 7

MALAGA & SEVILLE

Breakfast at the Hotel and check out.

Travel to Malaga by train and check in. Hotel Reserved for 3 pm (Early check-in may be available upon request but subject to availability)

Relax in this historic town where you will have the opportunity to see places like the Picasso Museum, the Alcazaba (Castle), Roman Amphitheater, Thyssen museum and many other attractions.

Day 8

MALAGA

Breakfast at the Hotel.

You have plenty of free time in Malaga today. Take the opportunity to visit Granada on one of the day tours available from Malaga. You can also take a trip to Gibraltar or to Marbella - the Beverly hills of Spain. There is a lot to do for everyone.

Deposit Required:

Balance is due 30 days Prior to Arrival.

Cancellation:

Up to 30 days before departure: refund less 15% official tour price.

Between 30 and 15 days: refund less 25% of the total.

Between 14 and 5 days: refund less 50% of the total.

Between 4 and 1 day(s): refund less 80% of the total.

Less than 24 hours or failure to turn up: No refund, 100% of the total is payable.

Since these are international terms an additional 5 days will be added in order to process refunds.

An additional 15% Administrative fee will be charged from Palace Tours against refunds.

All cancellation, change, or update requests must be submitted in writing by email to travel@palacetours.com. Please allow at least 48 hours (and in some cases longer) for us to review, confirm, and process the request and advise any applicable fees. A cancellation, change, or update takes effect only once we have received and processed the request, and we will confirm the outcome to you once it has been processed. Cancellation timeframes and the applicable fee are calculated by reference to the local time and normal business hours at the destination where the tour is provided; a request received outside those business hours (including evenings, weekends, and public holidays at the destination) is treated as received on the next business day at the destination, and a further processing period of at least 48 hours (and in some cases longer) then applies before the request takes effect.

The above times are based on Spain time. In order to provide enough time for processing cancellation, guests need to add 3 business days to the above timeframes. An administration fee of 15% on any monies paid by the client will be charged prior to refund.

No. It is an independent travel package, not an escorted group tour. You receive hotels with breakfast, train tickets with assigned seats, an arrival transfer and hop on hop off bus passes, and you are free to plan your own days in each city.

You start in Barcelona, take the high-speed train to Madrid, continue by train to Seville and then on to Malaga. On the last day you take a high-speed train from Malaga to either Madrid or Barcelona, whichever you choose when booking. The package covers 8 nights and 9 days.

9 How do Deluxe and Luxury class differ on the Barcelona, Madrid, Seville and Malaga package?

Both classes include 8 nights with breakfast, hop on hop off tickets and assigned train seats. Luxury class adds upgraded hotels and first class train tickets between cities, while Deluxe uses good, well-located hotels that we have inspected.

10 How much does the Barcelona, Madrid, Seville and Malaga package cost?

Fares start from EUR 1,450 per person sharing in Deluxe class, and single-occupancy fares are also available. Luxury class is priced higher for its upgraded hotels and first class trains. The exact fare for each departure is shown on this page.

11 Can I end the package in Madrid or Barcelona?

Yes. On day 9 the package includes a high-speed train ticket from Malaga to either Madrid or Barcelona. Please choose your end city when booking so we can issue the right ticket and you can plan your flight home from there.

12 What can I see in Malaga on this package?

Malaga offers the Picasso Museum, the Alcazaba fortress, the Roman amphitheatre and the Thyssen museum. With a free day on the Costa del Sol you can also take a day tour to Granada or a trip to Gibraltar or Marbella.

13 What optional excursions are available from Madrid and Seville?

From Madrid you can take excursions to Toledo, Avila or Segovia, and from Seville to Ronda, Cadiz or Cordoba. From Barcelona, Montserrat is a popular choice. We can arrange these at special rates, or you can book them yourself when you are there.

14 When can I check in to the hotels on this package?

Hotel rooms are reserved from 3 pm on arrival days in each city. Early check-in can be requested but is subject to availability, so let us know your arrival time and we will pass on your request.

15 What is not included in the Routes of Spain Barcelona to Malaga package?

Domestic and international flights, travel insurance and visa fees are not included. Lunches and dinners, optional excursions, personal items such as laundry and souvenirs, extra hotel nights before or after the package and anything not listed as included are at your own cost.

16 What deposit is needed and when is the balance due?

A 25% deposit confirms the package and the balance is due 30 days before departure. We send a written statement of both amounts once your booking is confirmed.

17 Are there child fares on the Barcelona, Madrid, Seville and Malaga package?

Yes. Child fares apply in two bands based on age at departure: from 0 to under 5, and from 5 to under 12. Share the ages with us and we will confirm the fare and room set-up for your chosen date.
