Itinerary
Your Itinerary
PORTOFINO & ROME
Your journey begins at the La Dolce Vita Lounge in Roma Ostiense, where a private transfer brings you directly from the airport or your hotel in Rome. From here, you step aboard La Dolce Vita Orient Express and settle into your cabin as the train leaves the Eternal City behind. Once on board, lunch is served in the Restaurant Car, created by three-Michelin-starred Chef Heinz Beck, a celebration of Italy’s finest flavours as the landscape begins to unfold beyond the windows.
As the journey continues, the scenery shifts from the heart of Rome to the rolling Tuscan countryside and onward to the Ligurian coast.
VENICE
Begin your morning with breakfast served in the comfort of your private cabin or in the elegant Restaurant Car, as the train travels through the landscapes of northern Italy towards Venice.Upon arrival at Venezia Santa Lucia station, La Serenissima reveals itself through canals, reflections, and hidden passageways opening directly onto the water.
Spend the day exploring freely or choose from one of our curated experiences to discover the city from a different perspective.Later in the day, return on board La Dolce Vita Orient Express as the journey continues once again.
FLORENCE & ROME
The final day begins slowly, with breakfast served in your private cabin or in the Restaurant Car, while the train makes its way through the Tuscan countryside towards Florence. On arrival, local guides welcome you to discover the city, where Renaissance architecture, lively piazzas, and views along the Arno shape the atmosphere at every turn.
Explore Florence at your own pace or select one of our à la carte experiences designed around your interests.Later in the afternoon, you return on board as the journey continues south through central Italy.
