MONTALCINO & ROME
Your adventure begins with a private transfer to the exclusive La Dolce Vital lounge in Rome Ostiense, where you can relax and prepare for your journey ahead. The train departs in the morning.After settling into your cabin, head to the Restaurant Car where a gourmet lunch crafted by three-Michelin-starred chef Heinz Beck awaits. As the train glides toward Montalcino, enjoy the evolving scenery and the anticipation of your first destination.
Upon arrival, local assistants welcome you with a transfer to the enchanting town of Montalcino, famous for its Brunello wine and rich history.
VERONA
Wake up to a leisurely breakfast served in your cabin or in the elegant Restaurant Car as the train carries you north toward Verona. Enjoy the morning views as the landscape gently unfolds outside your window.Upon arrival, local assistants will greet you and transfer you to the historic city center. Verona welcomes you with its blend of Roman history, Renaissance architecture, and vibrant street life.
Spend the day exploring at your own pace – wander through ancient streets, visit iconic landmarks like the Arena or Juliet’s Balcony, or choose from a curated selection of à la carte experiences that reveal the city’s rich culture and traditions.
ROME
An unforgettable journey into the timeless heart of Verona, where history, art, and unique atmospheres come together.The tour begins at the evocative Ponte Pietra, a Roman-era bridge that stands as a testament to the city’s ancient roots. From there, you’ll wander through charming alleys and lively squares steeped in centuries of culture and tradition.Admire the majestic Scaliger Tombs and the vibrant Piazza delle Erbe, where the past blends seamlessly with everyday life.

Terms & Conditions
Booking & Payment
- Deposit: 15% of the fare is due at the time of booking.
- Final payment: the balance is due no less than 65 days before departure (the operator requires full payment 60 days out).
- Fares are per person in EUR unless stated otherwise.
Cancellation
Per the operator's current General Conditions of Sale (La Dolce Vita Orient Express, April 2026), cancellation charges as a percentage of the total fare are:
- 61 days or more before departure: 15% (the deposit)
- 60 to 31 days before departure: 50%
- 30 days or less before departure: 100%
Changes
- One change of date or itinerary is free of charge; each further change is EUR 200.
- Less than 30 days before departure, a change of date or itinerary is treated as a cancellation.
- Name changes/transfers are subject to the actual costs of transfer and are not permitted within 30 days of departure.
Operator cancellation
The operator may cancel a departure if train occupancy is below 20% (notified at least 90 days before departure) or in exceptional and unavoidable circumstances; in that case all payments are refunded in full within 14 days.
The operator's complete General Conditions of Sale are provided with your booking confirmation and prevail in case of any difference.
