For off-train excursions, comfortable walking shoes, sun lotion, and hats are recommended. Rain capes are available. For game drives, dress in layers as mornings can be cool, warming up considerably, and afternoons can cool down again.

USB ports are available in each suite, and international adaptors are provided. Power is supplied by a generator, and occasional breaks in power are necessary for servicing.
