Trains arrive in the heart of towns and cities. I got to know no one on my small cruise of 200 passengers. With 28 companions, I became acquainted with all.”

“Thdre was nothing on this trip I did not enjoy. Highlights were our cabin attendants, Taj Mahal, Jaiper Fort with elephant ride, desert camel ride and Udaipur boat ride and garden. The Train is so beautiful that I could not stop taking photos, the views from any area of the train are out of this world, but we spent 99% of the time on the Terrace even though we had to wear masks for a little while to avoid a trace of volcano ash-if you don't get it then you haven't been to the Volcanoes Area.The Crew was polite and professional, checking on us to make sure we were enjoying every minute of it. The Haciendas/food excellent!”

“The Palace on Wheels was the best way to visit the extraordinary sights in Rajasthan on a quick tour. We took our 14 year old son and 11 year old daughter and we all had the time of our lives. To all after me I would avoid the shopping as they are not honest and you can buy India things at home cheaper. And tipping look it up on line for a guide or you will overtip and stress out as a lot of money gets spent for tips.
