Your journey starts in Madrid and takes you to Oviedo, Cangas de Onis, Ribadesella, Pontevedra and A Coruna.

After breakfast our driver takes you to the train station for your journey to Oviedo. Upon arrival you are transferred to your hotel. Later you may visit the city's important monuments like Santa María del Naranco and San Miguel de Lillo. In the evening you can pick up your rental car at a locally appointed spot. (B)
This morning you may travel to Cangas de Onis, (72 Km approx.) the first capital of the kingdom. Admire its Roman bridge over the River Sella. Continue your journey to Covadonga (11 km approx.) with the Sanctuary of the Virgin known as La Santina or to Lagos de Covadonga (12 Km approx.). You may also choose to travel to charming Ribadesella (36 Km approx.). Return to Oviedo (85 km approx.) for an overnight.(B)
Today depart for the Asturian coast, and visit the typical fishing villages like Cudillero (68 km approx.) and Luarca (38 Km approx.) "The White Village of the Green Coast". Later drive to A Coruña (200 km approx.) and explore the Riazor beach and María Pita Square. (B)
Visit the magical town of Santiago de Compostela (63 km approx.) named by UNESCO a World Heritage City. Take a walk to the tomb of St. James, Portico de la Gloria, the hostel of Catholic Kings. In the afternoon you may travel to Cambados (65 km approx.) and O Grove and enjoy a glass-bottom boat ride. Return to Pontevedra. (28 km approx.) (B)
After breakfast drive to the train station, where you drop off the car and take the train to Madrid. Upon arrival in Madrid you will be transferred to your hotel. (B)
What are the passport/visa requirements for travel to Spain?
Please ensure that your passport has at least three blank pages and that it is valid for at least six months beyond your departure date from Spain. Please check with your local embassy regarding visa requirements.
What type of clothing is recommended based on the local weather conditions?
As most of the tours are during the spring, when the weather is warm, leisure style clothing is recommended. Please bring along a jacket or coat for chilly evenings and windy days, and sun protection for warm afternoons. Comfortable walking shoes are a must.
What kind of cuisine is served?
Meals are buffet-style with a good variety of fresh local fare, and there are always vegetarian options available. If you have any special requests, we will try our best to accommodate them.
