This route covers some of the most beautiful places in the north of Catalonia. The itinerary consists of the route from the Pyrenean region of the Arán Valley to the area of the Montserrat Natural Park.

Parador of Cardona 3rd day (One night stay) (Cardona)

We arrive at the Parador of Cardona. On the top of the hill, the castle encompasses the impressive "Colegiata de Sant Vicenç", a perfect example of the roman - catalonian style; also interesting to visit are the ruins of the viscount¿s castle (XII ¿ XIII centuries), where the Parador is located, and the tower ¿De la Minaya¿. The Salt Mountain has been declared Patrimony of Mankind by the UNESCO. More interesting places to visit are: Fábricas del Paperer (1899) and La Costa (1879), close to the Cardener river.

Parador of Seu 4th and 5th day (two-night stay) (La Seu d'Urgell)

At Seu, you may discover the Catedral de Santa Maria d'Urgell and the Museo Diocesano. Do not miss walking the Calle Canonges, under the arcades, with its beautiful, old shops. The Parque Olímpico del Segre, within Seu itself, is an ideal place to practice water sport, like canoeing, rafting and similar. The Natural Park of Cadí-Moixero offer landscapes of incomparable beauty, and the chance to discover the region by walking. One may also profit the stay at the Parador to make a short trip to Andorra, enjoying a day of shopping, or visiting the thematic water park, the largest of this kind in Europe. It has 25.000 m2 to relax and have fun, as well as wellness.

Parador of Vielha 6th and 7th day (two-night stay) (Vielha)

On our trip from Seu to Vielha, we will discover the beauty of the Pyrenees. In the Arán Valley, it is recommendable to make the "Romanic Route", knowing villages like Bossòst, Era Mair de Diu dera Purificación, Salardú, with its church of Sant Andrés, and Artiés, with the church of Santa María. The National Park of Aigüestortes y del Estany de San Mauricio is of such beauty that it surprises its visitors every time. The Park attracts visitors at any season of the year. Do not forget visiting the Spa of the Parador, which will be the ideal place for relaxing at the end of your route.
