• As you make your way to the Charles Darwin research station to learn about conservation efforts, see several species of famous Galapagos tortoises in their natural habitat!
• Get a chance to swim and snorkel with sea lions, sea turtles, marine iguanas, penguins, rays, and many species of tropical fish along beautiful coral beaches.

Itinerary


Your excursion will begin at Baltra Airport. Just after landing, in the airport, you should see guides for this excursion; please present your voucher, along with valid photo ID, to the guides to begin your journey. At this time, you should also be prepared to pay the $20 Transit Control Card, the $20 Isabela Island Entrance Fee, and the $100 Galapagos National Park Entrance Fee, all of which are payable only in cash and on a per-person basis.

Cities Covered Santa Cruz Island

Arriving to Baltra we will take a shuttle thought out Santa Cruz Island where we will reach the highlands of the Islands with its green vegetation where we will stop to visit a Ranch, here we will be able to see Giant Turtles in their natural habitat. Lunch at the ranch. Optional activity: After lunch we will proceed to leave our “soul print” in the Galapagos Islands and you will be part of the project of conservation on the Island. The program consists in planting your own tree in Primicias Ranch, this tree will have your name on and later on, you will receive a certificate for actively supporting in the maintenance of the Galapagos' ecosystem. After this visit we will head to Puerto Ayora to check-in in a selected hotel ** Note: In case of full board plan, dinner will be set at a local restaurant in town

 This day you will have the opportunity to do a navigable excursion to another Island, in order to discover the diversity of the Galapagos Islands. The tour consists a hike around the island and afterwards you can snorkel, swim or just relax. Based on availability we can confirm one of the following tours: Bartolome Island: Discover amazing landscapes, and fascinating geological formations, here you will have great opportunity for snorkeling. North Seymour Island: The main fauna species of this island are Land Iguanas, the Magnificent Frigate bird with their incredible scarlet regular pouch, blue-footed boobies and their particular courtship dance and sea lions surfing across the waves. South Plazas: Small island but outstanding concentration of wildlife, dramatic cliffs, spectacular natural red carpet of algae and great contrasts to be seen. Santa Fe: This Island has a lot of diversity. The lagoons of the Santa Fe Island provide an excellent place for snorkeling alongside colorful fishes, sea lions, giant tuna and even small sharks that are often sited in these environments. ** Note: In case of full board plan, dinner will be set at a local restaurant in town.

After breakfast, we will head to the Charles Darwin Station. The center is a reservoir of information on habitats and local conservation, as well as other fascinating relevant statistics. The most striking attraction of this station is certainly the Tortoise Breeding Center, where it is possible to view tortoises of varied sizes and shapes. Travelers here can freely walk and get their photos clicked with the tortoises. Among other inhabitants at the center, you can see the land and marine iguanas and different species of birds. Terms and Conditions

PAYMENT

  • 25% deposit: 10 days after the confirmation for Ecuador and Galapagos Cruises (some cruises requests 30% to 50% payment, for such cases, Geo Reisen will advise you in advanced.
  • 50% deposit: 7 days after the confirmation for Island Hopping Programs to guarantee the navigable daily tour excursions and hotels. 
  • 100% payment: 65 days before, in case of services including the Galapagos Islands  
  • 100% payment: 35 days for land services

CANCELLATIONS POLICIES

Period before departure within which notice of cancellation is received by us in writing:

 

  • Mainland Services

 

20%: the confirmation deposit is not refundable

50%: between 29 and 16 days before starting the program

100%: between 15 days or less.

 

 

 

  • Galapagos Services

 

Confirmation deposit is not refundable

100%: 65 days or less.

Cancellation charges are a percentage of the total package cost. These charges are based on how many days before departure we receive a cancellation notice and not when the correspondence was sent to us.

Palace Tours charges an additional 15% administrative fee upon cancelation and against any refunds
